The Old Thyme Machines Forum has Closed

The Thyme Machines forum ceased to exist on Wednesday 26 September 2018 at about 15:30 hours. There were over 141,000 posts (over 25% were by Dawn and Gaz), and over 2GB of attachments to the forum.

The Thyme Machines Facebook Group is closed group that was started by ex-thyme machines forum administrators, Gaz (DragonLord) and Lucy (Loopylass). Only members of the Thyme Machines forum can join the group https://www.facebook.com/groups/2146406898950614/

Thank you Ian.  It will give quite a few of us a chance to communicate and share files if we wish.  I have a whole raft of freebies that were on TG.  Do you think it would be worth uploading some to this forum for members to download?

You can upload some files if you want to Mary, all I have to do is to create a category for them, when I thought of a name for it  .

Hello Ian and Old Thyme friends,

I have only recently returned home only to hear the sad news about Thyme Graphics.  I was at a loss hearing this because I suddenly found I'd lost contact with quite a few friends who have been helping and advising me on how to get the best from my SB.

Fortunately, I did find a reference to Mary P. and was able to learn about your forum.  Well, here I am and I hope to rekindle the contacts in order that I can continue learning and progressing with my lovely SB.

There are about at least 7 of us from the old Thyme Machines forums, Dawn (Thyme) and Gaz (Dragon Lord) are here. The Thyme Machines Facebook group has currently 102 members, and a lot of the names I don't recoginise.

If any questions posted on here can't be answered, I'll post them on the Thyme Machines Facebook page, and someone should be able to answer them.

It's difficult to search Facebook pages, so it's not much good for sharing files, and makes technical support more difficult.
 
There's not much going on in the Facebook group at the moment, so here's a brief summary: -
 

• A reminder that blades, mats and accessories are still stocked by Dawn and Tony
• A number of messages about how sad they were to hear about Dawn's illness, and wishing her well
• Help about Sure Cuts a Lot (SCAL) from Sandra in Spain via her YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC79-vHDfB3Bi6vrkBL2f_ig
• Someone asking for help who purchased a Silver Bullet 18-months ago and it's still in the box! I thought it was only Brother ScanNCut owners who did that.

Thanks Ian for the update.  The TG forum was very under used before its demise.  I guess most of us had learned much of what we needed to know.

Ian would it be out of order to suggest they have the occasional look for files here?  Whilst I have only added a few so as not to crowd the forum and most of them have already been posted on the old TG site as freebies, I do have plenty more I could upload.  I don't want to create a lot of work for you though.

the FB group was really set up just for people to keep in contact and to ask the odd question,  like those that we know but it just escapes us when we need it
sadly there is no easy way to filter only old forum members
